If I'm honest I don't know, Andrew at DTUK set it up, we tried a couple of different settings before settling on the one I am currently running. It is not too extreme a map. Might be best to contact Andrew to get the info.

As mentioned in another post I saw Ian's SQ at a show recently - based upon what i saw (in terms of externals) it looks like a quality product although i would like to discuss more with the manufacturer before considered using something like this.

FYI - at no point did Ian try to sell me one of these or overtly push it on me. I could see how someone could see some of the posts as advertising spam however until people staring using alternatives or offer real world feedback on similar or opposing products its going to seem one sided. Certainly there seems little real world feedback (that i have seen) because so few UK SQ's have been tuned. I'm sure the first person to get a Revo, MRC or other map will be singing its virtues soon enough

Had a chat with Andrew and placed a order for the new CRDt+.Down side is he advised not to use the box until at least 1000 miles

. Its worth a try and if it disappoints I will just go down the ECU Remap route.

Wepps

Have any other SQ5 owners fitted the tuning box, would be interested in your feedback before ordering one.
Thanks

I wanted more toque for the hills so ive just tried one of the tuning boxes that IanSQFIVE is using on my fiat 3.0tdi motor-home. Not great results but in fairness its not the type of vehicle you would expect to get great feedback from. I will try one on the wifes BMW before thinking about putting one on the SQ. I had a full remap on my BM so It will be interesting to see what the box can deliver.

However in preparation of a tune on the SQ, I have spoken with the broker just to sound them out. They said my present insurer wont allow tuning but they can move me to one that will for an additional premium of ÂŁ228
That represents ÂŁ38 to cancel the existing policy and a ÂŁ190 premium for the extra power (up to 370bhp)

That sounds like too much extra premium just because of the box. I would try a more mod friendly insurer. I'm only paying ÂŁ230 for a standard power SQ5 to Admiral.

so can i just double double check, i have read the claim but ... this box once removed, its use cant be detected by audi if in for warranty work?

Thats correct, remove it and it was never there

Def to good to b true 😄

Has anyone tried one of these?

ÂŁ75 for 368hp and 762Nm... too good to be true?!?!
Came across it on Amazon the other day, they also do a box that puts out 392 PS and 826 NM. Cant imagine the drivetrain lasting for long? I would stick to UK stuff which are tried and tested.

3 months on has there been any issues with using or is everything looking ok

All is fine

Looks like Revo now do a remap for the SQ5 for ÂŁ399

Modest power increases but quite a drop in price from what was available 12 months ago.

Interesting looking at their power graph showing stock power below 290 bhp though which doesn't seem to be the case when you look at a similar graph for something like a Golf R which seems to put out roughly the power it's supposed to have from stock.

The Revo map has been out a couple of months now, the numbers aren't very good, they have certainly played it safe!

Best map out there is the JD Engineering one (IMO - I haven't tried it this is based purely on the numbers and the RR graphs) but they are in Netherlands!

400bhp and 840Nm
