I call Expert for tires to try to drive up the hill where there is 15 cm of snow with Michelin Latitude Sport tires

Code:
I think he was a drover
- If you you think of yourself, not a problem

PS: why you deleted your post where you wrote that the best Vredestein tires on the market - as miserable and wretched

What a Silly non Sense making Rant.
Can we have an interpreter please.
Or do it in your native language but not here.

Spijun,
I think we all agree on here you supply very good information when people require parts and such like with the Audi parts lists.

But other than that your Rants and Posts are a bit irritating when you fully do not understand what is or being asked. You do not see any other member of this forum turning on one another like you do.

As for tyres yes I will stick my neck out on the line regarding Vredestein tyres as they have performed really well for me, the Dunlops were the Audi package so I had no choice in the matter as I did price wheels and tyres to offset the Audi deal but everything was more expensive.

As for driving in snow I have never been stuck in any 4x4, I have also opened roads with approx 3 feet of snow on the bonnet of my landrover, pulled police and Ambulance vehicles that have been stuck to assist in there mission, not stuck because of 15 CM of snow like yourself.
If you have any reasonable reply please do if not ask your Audi friend to help you.

4"-6" Snow here today .
8.30 am Traffic Light Controlled Hump Back Bridge Van if front fails to go over after 4 attempts.
Next change of Lights go round the van onto compacted Snow which has turned into Sheet Ice.
TCS Light stays on and progress slows off with it and as I have said before progress resumes.
Expert I am not but I do have a bit of common sense.

Very well put.
So why do Land Rovers and others have Low Range and Diff Lock /
Oh to help you when conditions dictate you need them.
One of my Cars has various condition switchable options off road sand mud ect and one for snow result in changing the amount of TCS -ASR -ABS + Hill Descent from 100% to 0% assistance.
Drove Green Goddess with Low Range and Diff Lock 20+ years ago always useful even in Snow.

Yes they are useful but it still comes down to tyres and speed in the end. Got a few inches of snow here and been out in it with no problem this morning. But too many people are just not adapting their driving and habits for the conditions

Took a venture out today in the 7" of snow we now have in the Midlands. I have standard summer tyres with good tread. The A8 got through everything, deep snow, sheet ice and slush, I am very impressed. I now would not bother with winter tyres, if you've got Quattro and take it easy you'll get anywhere. There a steep hill by me leading to a main road, an old discovery took 2 attempts to get up the hill, hold and then pull off when a space returned. My car nailed it first time, the diff lock came on whilst I paused for a gap and then it crept up the slippery hill, very happy with the car today, well worth Quattro in the future!

Kramer,

Very interesting indeed, as I have mentioned its the driver that makes the difference, yes 4x4 and a fool go no where fast.

Why did you buy winter tires when you're an expert on driving with summer tires on snow

I'm not stuck in the snow with snow tires not even here:
I have a excellent experience with the Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow.
