Really unsure at this moment. I did query was this a shape change as I believe a new shape is coming out next year however confirmed it was the one I placed the order against...Confused at this point!

Audi update the model year pretty much every year; MY23 would normally be builds starting around Q3 '22. So don;t get too excited, it'll be what you were expecting/ordered.

Given the current issues, chances are that MY23 will have reduced spec vs MY22 (if any changes at all) - but you can expect to get what you ordered spec wise unless they tell you otehrwise.

The next Q5 might see an appearance late next year, but more likely '24 I think.

I know this is an old thread, but interesting how things have changed. I walked into the Audi dealer in Rocklin, California, took a test drive, had some discussion and drove home with a 2024 Q5e the same day. I mainly have short all battery trips, but on longer trips where the battery is fairly depleted, say 100 miles or more, I get about 39 mpg on gas. It's so impressive to me how smoothly and quietly the engine kicks in...I have to look at the tachometer to know whether it's on or not.
