No mistake, better is the B&O

Bang & Olufsen Sound System

Audi sound system
6-channel amplifier, 10 speakers including centre speaker in the dashboard and subwoofer in the spare wheel well, total output 180 watts.

Yes, I have a Q5 with B&O system

Audi's B&O installations are excellent - solid bass, distortion free irrespective of volume, crisp midrange and - just very life like and easy on the ears. If you have a tech-pack and watch DVD media in the car then you might also enjoy full 7.1 surround sound with the B&O too. If high quality music/video/radio playback really isn't your thing/not something you care too much about then the standard Audi system is plenty good enough - good but not exceptional.

Having spent a lot of money on ICE over the years (in my my younger years!), I know a wee bit about car audio. I have the B&O in my A4 avant and it is simply fantastic, what a sound! It is more than loud enough in my opinion, any louder and your ears would start to bleed! 505 watts of quality power and absolutely no distortion at any level. Everyone should have it in their Audi! It's certainly part of the spec on the Q5 I've ordered.

The B&O sound quality is subtle - the nuances of the sound source are reproduced perfectly. Young Ramy' likes his sounds a bit higher up the brutal scale I suspect given the genre of music mentioned....
