I came across an F-Pace this morning, glad to say that after its initial attempts at trying to make some exhuasty notes with short bursts of acceleration, I totally demoralised and embarrassed it as I went passed

Have to say the rear looks uninspiring and bloated. It's just the front the looks ok.

Yes the new prices and options trickery is just very poor of Audi. Luckily I'm not buying a new Audi any time soon

what's the SQ5 version of the F-Pace Raphster?

my measly 2.0l Q5 managed to outrun an F-Pace (spec unknown - i assume another 2.0L) to the lights the other day from a standing start in Sport mode.

2L is 180PS, where as the 3.0L V6 Turbocharged diesel is 300PS.

The problem with the jag is it will be worth nothing in about a week!

VAG Group are putting up the prices of everything from cars to extras to claw back money from the emissions scandal.

I have specced foldable mirrors without needing electric seats.
anyone managed to spec heated rear seats without electric front seats?

i had an email from my dealer - he said Audi said it cannot be done.

Anyone else having problems with the Q5 configurator online right now?

It appears to be offline, although the A4 configurator appears to be online?

Q5 and SQ5 not working on lap top configurator, but both available on iPhone app.

Maybe they are sorting out the mistakes in the configurator. The config says you get lighting in the cup holders - you don't. In the steering wheel options, the photo of the standard circular wheel does not show the brushed metal insert within the wheel with the s- line logo. When I ordered my s- line last november you could specify electric front seats and/or electric mirrors separatly for ÂŁ700 and ÂŁ250. They updated the config in January I think, so now you must purchase both with memory function but now cost ÂŁ800 and ÂŁ350.
The price of all models has increased by ÂŁ5000. For what ? More plastic and less storage under the boot floor. Oh but they offer the virtual cockpit for ÂŁ250 !!! Ermmmmm no- you have to add the technology pack for another ÂŁ11000000000000. I'm enjoying my car and possibly like it even more when a few delivery niggles get sorted out. But I feel Audi and others are jumping on the SUV popularity bandwagon till the public move to whatever is the next big thing in cars. Open your doors and take a step back. Really have a good look at the materials used in this car and ask youself - is this really a ÂŁ40000 plus car ? I know the last model was getting on a bit, but I feel it was the better finished car inside. No cup holders in the rear centre armrest --- on an s-line top of the range SUV ? Oh sorry you have to pay extra for the movable rear seats option - which inclludes ÂŁ5 plastic cupholders. Not to mention hand pump up seats lol.
As I say, I like my car but may well be looking elsewhere in a couple of years.

I hear you brother! Audi are pricing many of us out of the market - and for what? a low quality Mexican product that cots an arm and a leg and is missing some very basic accessories?

Anyhow - it looks like we can no longer configure the Q5 on the Audi Configurator until further notice.
