I'm not impressed with it either that's the main reason for buying SQ5 before it changed along with tax rules! I had a 2008 A4 and yes inside is very similar and showing signs of age but I'm happy with it and especially happy with speed and sound of it!

I've got an 08 A4 as well, it is obviously getting on a bit but it is still a very nice car to drive, the plus is even better.

Had a slight wobble after driving a Macan turbo last week but quickly regained my senses, it's a superb machine but it's not worth another £30K, never mind the running costs.

I've driven a few high end cars over the last couple of weeks including Ferrari, Bentley, Porsche, Lambourghini, Maserati. Some of them are pretty cxxp, some are fantastic - if you've got a race track handy - but driving on our roads the super car novelty soon wears off.

Hadn't driven mine for about a week but after I got back in I realised what all of these other cars have in common, they confirm what an excellent allrounder and comparative bargain the Sq5 plus is.

Can't see me changing it for a long while.

now that every time you click on an option it says "must be purchased in conjunction with XYZ" now makes them no different to BMW, Land Rover or Mercedes.

Instead of paying us compensation looks like they've struck a deal with the UK tax man so that every model tips the scales at a minimum of £40,001 - job done, everyone (who matters) is a winner
