Hi all,
New to the forum except for one quick message/complaint/let steam off post in the delivery times topic.

On 11th March I ordered a white 3.0 TDI S-line with black leather, 20" - 20 spoke alloys, cruise and folding mirrors (quite a basic spec but should be enough). I was told there was a cancelled order and delivery would be end of June. I am now told week 42 build and delivery early November.
The dealer has been OK and we will have a car from Audi from Mid September up to delivery. I have considered cancelling a few times but it seems to be a good car and with this demand hopefully residuals stay strong for a while.
If the delivery moves into December, I may considering leaving the delivery and registration to 1st Jan as this will also effect the residuals later.

I have been driving only BMW and Porsche since 1990, I traded an X5 against this car. I am looking forward to a change and an ownership comparison against other German cars.
