Welcome to the all new myAUDIQ5.com forum; the community web site for owners and enthusiasts of the forthcoming Q5 from AUDI

As the car is still not launched, the site is still much in its infancy, however together I'm sure we can create a valuable resource for all future owners

Please have a play with the forum and do let me know any problems or queries.

Enjoy!

Great to see a Q5 forum set up. I am very interested in replacing my Treg with a Q5. I booked a visit to the Geneva motor show last November for the 08 show (expecting the Q5 to be launched there - unfortunately it wasn't, still enjoyed the motor show).

Look forward to future postings.

Welcome on board Alan - pending the final look of the Q5 (which we'll see on Saturday), wifey would like to upgrade the Mini to something larger plus I am considering the option of dropping down to a one car family and trading the Allroad in at the same time

Greetings all...the official launch is in Bejing on friday evening I am told, but availible online on there microsite on saturday, so sunday I'll be at the dealers to finalise my order, not that its going to be any different to my Q7 !

Lava Grey, 2.0 tdi, s line, Xenons, advanced parking and intergrated blinds for the kiddies...fingers crossed I can do that at the launch !

Hello everyone.
i just had a look at the official pics.
got to be honest , i thought the front would be a bit more Q7 than it is. So slightly dissapointed.

But ill reseve judgement till i see it in the flesh.
i think i still fancy an S3 more !

I think the side profile is in better proportion than the Q7's though - in fact I think all the proportions are better. I do agree that from some angles the front end isn't quite right though in these first pics

Hi all
Probably going to go to the Q5 from my current 07 CRV.
It's the car I've always really wanted but had to get the Honda cos my Renault wouldn't have lasted any longer

In an ideal world I'd Like the 2.0 TDI with the DSG but see that won't be available from launch
...maybe later along with the 2.7

Anyway good to see a forum out there.

Hi John,

Welcome to the forum - we're still a young forum, however I'm sure we'll grow quickly. I'll be placing an order for the Q5 as soon as I can, however currently considering the petrol over the diesel at the minute.

Thanks for the welcome
Diesel fuel is cheaper over here in France so I have to lean that way. Nobody drives petrol here. Thats why I'm a bit annoyed the 2.0Ltr TDI does not come with the DSG at launch...I can't wait to get one let alone wait even more for my ideal engine choice !

(I know it's a UK Owners forum - but I'm from the UK - hope that counts

I'm glad you've joined - the more the merrier. To be honest the 'UK' part is really to keep inline with mytreg.com and mytiguan.com forums

Hi, joined yesterday and also looking forward to the launch of the awaited Q5.
Drive a 07/56 Audi A4 Avant 170 Tdi S-Line and has been faithful since i bought it last March.
Am hoping the price tag on this new Q5 is not to much into the ?30K range, as that kind of price your looking at a good second hand X5.

Never mind see what Santa brings........

Cheers all
