I know similar threads have been discussed, but I'm interested in forum thoughts.
1. As far as I can see a remap on the 3.0tdi needs to have the ecu removed. I'm not keen on this option.
2. There seem to be a large array of tuning boxes on offer. Threads often suggest that these boxes just trick sensors and over fuel the engine. I'm sure this is correct, but I'm wondering whether all he boxes are basically the same or are some of the more expensive boxes in the same league as a full remap? For example cheap boxes on eBay and the like are from £50 upwards. Boxes from DTUK are in excess of £400.
Surely there must be some significant differences, or is it just all marketing hype??
