Yep, if you like the idea of pan roof, you'd have to go for that package at £1200.
The reverse camera is great too, I've had a Q5 without, and now one with, it's very handy.

TBH, not a fan of panroofs. Too many squeeks & rattles. The light they flood in is great, & the heat in the summer months is not so good.

All the other extras seem great. Add the price,bargain.

The SE does look like a bargain and is the one I would go for if ordering now, that extra kit adds up to about £3K and Orange wheels were listing them at just over £46K.
Only slight downside (for me) is the choice of inlays on both plus and SE now being limited to aluminium or atlas, don't know what you've ordered but I like the black.
You'll probably have to wait another 10-12 weeks for delivery as well which may not be worth it, particularly if you're not fussy about having the pan roof.

 

Just contacted the dealer & mine appears to be a 2017 model & the SE, all FOC.

Mine has got this upgrade for free. Due to start of production in November.

Yes, indeed. From October you can only get the SQ5 Plus in SE variant.

The same goes for the 2.0 tdi.

They only have to make one derivative of the bodyshell this way, pano roof or nothing. Narrows the option list and simplifies the supply chain during the model run out.

 

Surely they are doing it out of the generosity of their hearts

 

I'm truely shocked. 3k's worth of extras for free. I only paid £220 for ADS. But lets just see.........

My order tracker is showing SQ5 Special Edition. Which was only showing SQ5 Plus before.

I would imagine they have two presses one pan roof & one without.

Until the car lands I'm not 100% convinced.

Mrs Rappy's 66 plate Mini Cabriolet was a complete cock up. We ordered a Cooper D & got a Cooper. The Cooper had 6k's worth of extras which we got FOC due to dealers mistake.

I noticed this but the dealer said it was same as original order even though it said SE. I wasn't interested in pano roof and wanted piano black inlays along with me wiry seats which I see is now not a option. Happy I'm getting plus rather than SE. Picking it up 31st out of choice as could have got it Monday gone

 

Same here about the Panoroof.

Yours will be a SQ5 Plus as you collect yours this month.

Mine got delayed & is due to start production mid November. October was the change over to the SE.

How about this then. When enquiring about a new SQ5+ SE around 3 dealerships said the books are closed and just what's coming through to the dealership will be available but then I called Whetstone Audi, London N20 and they said that's not true and the books are still open for the SE version only which I guess makes it easier for Audi to centralise their final production of the SQ5. Its frustrating and I can't believe that Audi can be so inconsistent!! Any thoughts?

 

I went to West London Audi yesterday and placed my order for an SQ5 Plus SE to be delivered in March. The only restriction I had was that I could no longer get the Monsoon Grey colour I was originally going to get so went for the Lava Grey instead which actually looks beautiful (and is free rather than a £2k extra!!). So it looks like they are still available but maybe only at the bigger dealers maybe?? West London is huge.

 

I have often found I get a different story depending on which salesperson I speak to even at the same dealer.

They contributed £2,500 towards the deposit and I negotiated another £3,000 to meet me at the deposit amount and monthly payments i was comfortable with. They also paid for all the accessories (not options) we ticked.
