My daughter dropped 1 of her AirPods into the hole on my Q5 2023 center rear seat and is in the bottom of the seat. How do I remove the seat cushion or access inside of the bottom of the back cushion? Thanks.

If you look under the seat from the footwell area, do your seats have a raised gap? Maybe you can see it and retrieve that way around?

SQ-Raphster is not under or behind the seat. It is inside the lower bottom area. I have tried but unable to get to it. Unless I figure how to remove the cushion. The dealer will charge $275 to retrieve it.

May be worth trying a magnetic probe?

missile not sure it will work. 1st, I need to located inside, could be at an angle not reachable, or magnet is not strong enough.

If someone can share a service manual with instructions and diagrams to take apart the central back seat for Q5 2023 that would be helpful.

SQ-Raphster - My ADHD would drive me crazy knowing the thing is in there. I am trying my best to see if I can remove it myself.

Have you tried folding the seats down and have a look and bring them back to the upright position in case the air pod may fall out? A 3 prong reacher retractable tool may work as well.
here is an example and they work great for dropped items in tight Amazon.com.

MA413 I did turn fold the seat down and every ways I could. I would not able to able to make it fall out. The 3 prong reacher retractable tool might seem like a good idea but I afraid it my scratch or cut the leather, fabric, or something. Thanks for your suggestion.

@12CSBE thank you I have a annoying noise from behind the drivers seat, sounds like a marble in a tube every time I turn left or right.... from the guide you put on here I finally managed to get the seat pad up but cant see anything loose. Wondering if something had slid into the air vents under the driver seat..

I just stumbled upon this forum - i have a semi-related issue where the dealer has left one of the seat belt buckles (the female / receiver part) under the rear seat base. I am currently remote and 2000km away from the dealer, so need to get the rear seat base up so i can fix myself.
Which technical manual is that / do you know where i can buy it?
I am struggling with step 1 - removing the lower child anchor seat guide. If you have it to hand, could you please upload an image of that page?
Otherwise i would appreciate it if you could let me know which manual that is, and I will buy and download it.
