Can't see this anywhere else on the forum so here is a little issue I come across today:
After cleaning my car I found the memory seat buttons did not work although the controls on the seat did fine.
Like a good boy I checked the manual first... total waste of time!
Then I searched some other forums and found others with the same issue and how to fix.
Basically, when cleaning the car I put the drivers seat forward (not to full extent) to vacuum rear and then moved seat to maximum back to vacuum front and the system had become confused as I think I was basically half way through a reset?
Anyway, the fix was simply with the ignition off, move drivers seat full back, full forward, full down, full up (in that order - I'm not sure if relevant) and then the whole system magically works again... phew!
