I have an issue with the ignition lock on my Q5.
Whilst my wife was driving, the keys fell out of the ignition lock. Now the lock is temperamental. Sometimes the key lock functions correctly, but most times I get a warning and a key with a red cross.
She has several heavy keys on her key ring and I suspect that this has caused the issue. She has removed the extra keys, but I suspect the damage is done.
Anyone had a similar issue, advice or suggestions or am I looking at an expensive visit to the dealer?
