I'm looking to see if anybody has had similar issues with their Q5, long story short, the oil display on the MMI for my Audi Q5 is not displaying correctly its always showing as full, which it cant be obviously, a couple of oil changes ago it would display correctly and deplete accordingly, but now nothing I have no way of how much Oil left is in the vehicle, any suggestions to this problem? any similar experiences?

Thank you!!

Ditto, I bought one shortly after buying the car. Bit of a techno-phobe and prefer to have a visible check on oil level. Inexpensive and very easy to calibrate.

Hi Guilianio- been looking round the web for you. When you open the bonnet are you getting a signal on your dash that the bonnet is open ? There is a micro switch which is built in to the bonnet catch sometimes this switch gets stuck on because the bonnet is closed most times. This switch is in the same circuit as the oil level sensor and if it is stuck on , it will not give a level reading. If this is the case you can flood the bonnet catch with wd40 or take the catch off and locate the switch. Once you have the micro switch out you can try bending the metal strip away from the switch slightly to regain signal when the bonnet is closed. Wo rth a try mate - cheers
