I just bought my beautiful Q5 s-line back in late November. I took it on an extended test drive before purchase with no squeaking. A few days after having it, the brakes began to squeak all the time. I took it in for service and was told that this was normal with some audi high performance brakes especially when the weather changed. I was told to go fast and slam on the brakes a few times and that should help clear the brake dust and solve the problem. This does sometimes help for a little while but it always comes back. There might be something to the weather change comment as I drove my car from a cold climate to a warm climate on vacation and noticed very little brake squeaking. My husband and I are very upset that we have an embarrassing, noisy car that we spend so much money on.

I have read all the entries about this in this forum. I will contact my service center asap to see if they will do the fix that you all talked about but if anyone knows how or what specifically I should say or something I can reference to make them do the fix please let me know. Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.
