I received this just last night:
Managed to get through to Sales Office finally today, think they have been a bit buried with all the MY 14 changes. There is a problem with Black Styling Pack when combined with the Black roof rails on the SLi order system, they have been aware for a week or two and are trying to sort it out with the factory. They are hoping to get it resolved by next week. I will, of course, keep you posted.
Looks as if I either have a salesman who should be wearing a sheepskin coat OR Audi are totally inept.

On the positive side have you seen that the upgrade to Telephone High has been made!

I do not work for or within Audi but assume that this is the case as the brochure now states the following:

Important connectivity information: An external data source is required to enable the Audi connect online services. One of the two following external data sources can be used1:
1. A mobile telephone with Bluetooth SIM Access Profile2
2. A separate SIM card which can be inserted in the included SIM card reader. When a separate SIM card is used, hands
free phone calls are possible using the SIM card or by connecting a different mobile telephone via Bluetooth Hands Free Profile

Latest from sales manager at dealers on black styling pack is he has spoken with the brand manager and assures me that this will be available for ordering on the Audi system by Friday at latest.
He is so confident he has suggested I meet him at dealership at 1pm on Friday to see him place the order.
Time will tell!

Not sure where information comes from but I visited 4 dealers this weekend and asked about the black pack and not 1 could confirm that this would be available on MY14 SQ5. Indeed 2 stated NO it is not available. I have asked for clarification of this.

Black style pack is 100% available on MY14 SQ5 orders - I have mine coming in sept and checked. Dealer got his laptop out and shared his MY14 changes for all cars, you need to order 4ZD (£465). He also confirmed DAB and collapsible spare wheel as standard.

How Audi ever produce a car amazes me. They send out a revision which clearly states that as of MY14 the black styling pack will be available on SQ5.
They then release the new MY14 product specification and price lists which shows that the black styling pack is NOT available. Then they revise the online configurator and this also shows not available.
Dealer staff however assure me even as late as this morning at 10am that they have spoken to Audi marketing and production and that the styling pack is available on MY14 SQ5 as a cost option.
Not sure how many of you receive the ongoing emails and flyers since you placed your order but I for one would suggest that Audi save some money and time and focus on what should be a simple sales and order process.

You still can't add it to your order yet but that is expected to change on week 24. My car is build week 28 and there is a chance I could have it - but this has gone backwards and forwards so many times that I am starting to question the whole idea and think sod it just stick with the chrome. Its also more expensive £465 now. I think they have upgraded the black styling; window trim is in a gloss black and not matt but not altogether sure - anyone else know?

I am informed that the black styling pack for SQ5 (sorry forgot that we should not mention this anymore) will not be available for production until first week of September. This is due to change of finish / supplier. This if from Audi AG

But my order for sq5 for some reason as been put back from a estimated September / maximum October delivery according to the dealer to now a November delivery date I've just learned with no apparent reason from them yet (East Kent Audi) Been mention recently for a crap service in name and shame thread - I ordered the SQ5 beginner June.

Reading the small print will I have to pay more for the car if its bulid on a My14 because it now comes with a DAB radio as standard, and a collapsible spare wheel, I think the RRP is going up on My14 models or will they honour the order I had DAB on my previous Q5 which just so happen to be rubbish hence why I didn't ordered it in this one, and a collapsible spare wheel that even the sales manager didn't know how it worked and the same dealer failed to tell me when I ordered the car it came with addblu when I asked why wasn't it mentioned when I ordered the car they all said we didn't know it had addblu that was Maistone Audi.
Would appreciate if anyone knows whether the car will cost more on a My14.
I love the cars, but Audi and it's dealers are crap.

Bonzoboy I know exactly how you feel. My September order just pushed back to mid November? If this is really the case I want black pack?! Do you think if I email Wimbledon Audi they will be able to add this onto the car? Really want it as the black styling packages for Q5s look amazing.

So I was right, but no help for me...car due at the end of August for Sept delivery. Like José, would DEFINITELY want black pack, as I also have it coming in white...do I risk changing the order??????? Decisions decisions... 😟

All depends, if you ordered before the cut off point then your car will be built as a MY14 at MY13.
When was the car ordered?
