What am I doing wrong? Just fitted my 17"winter wheels and tyres and I notice that the plastic centre wheel cap that came with them just fall off. I tried the caps from my 19" wheels and they also fall out! I thought they were a standard size. Neither caps will stay in place on the 17" Audi wheels.
Have I missed something obvious?

There is no difference for wheel center cap for 17 "and 19" models are the same 8R0 601 165.
Maybe you are not set up a well

All caps fit my 19inch rims but not my Audi 17inch.
Still a mystery!

Spoke to Audi today and they are as mystified as me but promised to get back to me.......I'll not hold my breath!

Just changed back to my 17 inch winter wheel package from 19 inch wheels and had similar issues. Centre cap part number 8T0 601 170A (clip shown in photo with indent and notch) fits snug on my winter wheels whereas part number 4B0 601 170A (solid clip) spins and would probably fall out.
Is the mystery solved?

Many thanks, this arms me with the part numbers I can quote to Audi tomorrow, (who have never got back to me.)
I was beginning to think Audi had sold me non-audi wheels!
