Ability level = Jeremy Clarkson (5 mins)

Nasty yellow fogs

1. Turn wheel all the way to left. Remove these two torx screws from behind front bumper and pull back the arch liner from the bottom.

2. Reach your hand in and unclip wire from bulb press base and pull downwards. (sorry no pic)
3. Turn bulb 1/8 of a turn anti-clockwise and carefully remove.
4. Replace with new bulb taking care not to touch bulb glass with fingers.
5. Clip back on wire to bulb.
6. Check operation.

7. Push arch liner back into place and replace screws.
8. Turn wheel all the way to the right and repeat for other side.
9. Stand back and admire your handy work and the money you just saved!

FYI - for SQ5s you have to remove the fog surround grill from the front on one side as the intercooler is behind the wheel arch...

Does look a million times better with white!

Love the black on black grill!

Where's the cheapest place to get the bulbs?

I got them from Trups a member on RS246.com. You can reach him on [email protected], he's working on LED interior kits also.

Based on Brn7y's recommendation, I contacted Trups. Most helpful and really really quick in posting out.

Steppy, I made a paypal payment to the email address for contacting Turps. But best to email what you want and he'll respond. Cheers ... HH.

Neither, just standard bulbs tinted blue to give white light.

Is this a more difficult job to do on an SQ5, sounds like the intercooler is an issue?

Got my bulbs through which is a cracking service from Trups. I've just attempted to go and fit them though and am a little worried about breaking the grille. I managed to get the bottom free, but the silver trim in the middle seems to stop the whole thing from coming out. I really don't want to force it and break the grille within 2 weeks of owning the car!

Anyone done this on an SQ yet?
