I have noticed that at speeds over 60 mph my drivers side mirror glass appears to wobble whereas the passenger side is perfectly stable. This does affect my side rear view vision especially at night. Has any one else experienced this problem?

I havent noticed any movement with mine, I would contact your dealer .
I hope you get it sorted out quickly.

My drivers side mirror does this aswell but the passenger one is fine also.
Sounds like another problem with the Q5.

Yes it does sound like another Q5 problem although to be fair this has been the first issue with mine. I'm going to book it in at the dealer to see if they can sort it. Watch this space!!

Two questions:
1: Are these the electric folding or the basic mirrors that have the problem.

2: For the basic mirrors, can the be manually folded out of the way?

Yes these are the basic mirrors and yes they can be manually folded and twisted up.

Yes
I pulled the glass part of the mirror off as it had lost its stickyness. I then refixed it with double sided sticky tabs, the same ones that nuber plates are stuck on with. Problem fixxed.

Mine is booked in at the dealer on the 28th April to solve the problem. I wonder what they will tell me it was? Luckily it will all be covered under warranty.
