For me it was the following:

- running costs
- fuel economy
- speed / performance
- quality
- good size
- very good price / discount

To be honest there wasn't much else on the market with all of the above.. YES there is a macan but too costly once spec'd.. AND i wasn't too keen on a land rover as they just don't seem as refined in certain places i.e. Entertainment system. Note - that "handling" was not up there in my priorities as it's a vehicle in share with my wife... If It was, I may have gone for the Macan.... AND Had to swallow the costs...
