mine on Dunlops Sport 01 (235/55/19)
fine, after 7000km practically no wear, good feeling with the road and comfortable
I asked what are the alternatives, and my tyre-shop says best choice is or Dunlops, or Michelins
not cheap (230/250 euros all in for 1 tyre..)
I wonder if I should not invest in 17"+ winters in order to keep my tyre budget acceptable by spreading the kilometers on two sets (but the Q5 is definitely nicer on his 19" 's...)

Mine was delivered with Dunlops but my sisters was delivered with bridgestones.

Both cars are 2.0 TDI slines delivered from same garage 2 weeks apart.

I found that a little strange.

Hi
Mine are Michelins on 20 inch wheels which I have found are hard to get hold of,had to wait four days, wanted a spare as have no spare wheel.

Q5 3tdi with standard 19 inch wheels and have Bridgestone Duellers on mine. Just out of interest the manual says to use an AO tyre when replacing. The non A0 tyres are cheaper. What is this extra reference in the manual for and does it make any difference.

Bridgestones on mine as well.

acb, AO means Audi approved, just another way of trying to tie you in to buying from them. So long as you pick a reasonable make with the correct speed and load rating then it shouldn't be an issue.
