Ouch - that is one hell of a long time to wait and must be approaching a record.

I ordered mid February and have a provisional build of week 27 - not far away and still unconfirmed. I assume that you have been given a provisional build date?

Provisional build date of week 38, but hoping that it is brought forward.

I ordered April 6th, was originally had a build date of week 30 but has since slipped to week 32. I ordered through Derby Audi which is part of Sytner. As a matter of interest did you order through a dealership or was it online?

Also ordered end of Dec 09, and still waiting for build date. Was originally told june 10 for delivery, then in April was told that it will be a MY11 build.

Ordered mine 4th January and was also given a provisional build week in June. Then it all went very quiet so I kicked up and eventually they said provisional build week is now 29. Still trying to get that confirmed as of yesterday.

Ordered mine in early April. Told then that I should expect September delivery. Spoke to dealer yesterday and no change. They said they had not yet received conformation of build date but still expect September delivery. We'll see.

To be honest I think with a build week of 38 that it is a bit hopeful to have it confirmed this early. Rightly or wrongly build confirmations seem to be coming right up to the wire at the moment. Frustrating I know.

I think there waiting till about 3/4 weeks before confirming at the moment

Hi All,
I ordered my Q5 2.0 TDI SE manual at the end of May and was quoted approx 20th October delivery, I'm away from home at the moment but my wife received a follow up call from Plymouth Audi today to confirm the expected delivery around that date.

I spoke to my dealer yesterday who advised that if anyone orders today, they are advising customers that delivery won't be until April 2011!

Glad mines in the system!

I am well rehearsed in this waiting game as I've just waited 7 months for a TT, the pain never gets any better.

But it wouldn't be much fine if you could walk in and drive away the same day - would it

The reason I ordered from that particular dealer was because they said they had a June build allocation, I called today and they said they can't allocate it until July now. The dealer reckons (what else is he going to say?!?) that this'll still mean a November delivery, but I'm not so sure...

mmmmmmmm - does worry you a bit when they start that. I think it's fair to say that we would all prefer a bit of honesty right from the start - even if you don't like what they are telling you at least you have realistic expectations.

I was one of the lucky ones who got a reasonable delivery estimate when I ordered.

Some changes coming next month that should make things a little more bearable for people but I don't want to say too much right now because I'm not sure what is in the public domain
