Hi, can anyone with Tech Pack High comment on the functionality of the Voice Control? I can find no reference to what you can do with it or how well it performs.

I'd really appreciate knowing-

1) What functions you can control with it
2) If you speak complete commands or have... to... break... them... up...

Is it as good as on the iPhone for example? where you can just say "call Mum & Dad Mobile" or "Play songs by REM"

I find the voice control really good.. I had a disco3 and it is far better on the Audi. This is especially the case with the sat nav as you can input destinations by saying the name and road. It is generally pretty accurate and where it has choices it will give you an option. On the phone you can say the name of the person and it will pick from your caller list. If not again it will give you an option. I am very impressed and use it regularly. Not always 100% correct but I would say 90-95% which is not bad.

Thanks. So you can say any name in your phonebook without pre-saving a voice tag? cool. Can you control the MMI with it at all? like select artists or tracks?

Yes you can. You don't even need to add a voice tag. It even recognises my outlook contacts. Not sure about jukebox functions as I have not tried this. Will give it a go tonight and let you know.

Sorry to dissappoint but media jukebox does not cover artists or such like by voice selection. Only covers the basic selection of media type.
