Does anyone else think that the engine start/stop button for uk cars is on the wrong side? Is this just Audi not wanting to change from the LHD configuration?

No, and I hope not to have to, but prefer it there just in case.

As you always use the start/stop with the gear lever in P there is nothing to obstruct your hand getting to it on the other side of the tunnel.

I never even press it to turn the car off as opening the drivers door does it for you.

Just looked at some LHD pics...

What is actually mirrored with the start/stop is the volume knob. This is actually even more important to have on the driver side to me because although volume is on the steering wheel, when streaming music over Bluetooth the only way to skip track is to rock the volume knob left/right - you cannot do this on the wheel...

As I want to skip a track fairly often it's much more useful having it near me than the start/stop.

The e-brake they do move depending on LHD/RHD as it is mirrored with the coin holder.
