Audi are moving cars around the country,even if there computers are down.have just seen 2 transporters on the M25 full of new cars

Just read something that says Audi have taken on more staff and increased production to cope with the 19% sales increase this year.

They sure are. I emailed our dealer this morning to ask for a response to a mail I sent 2 weeks ago. Just been told that our car is about to leave production and is due at the dealers on Friday! This is after being informed by Audi that the car would not reach the dealers until mid August! They must be throwing money at the production and delivery system to move these cars at double quick speed.

My exact thoughts. The car was built last Monday 12th.

Ours was built on 7th but still no show at the dealers,he is hoping for tomorrow,just a little worried how he doesnt know where it is but told us to sort out insurance for saturday

It was TRUE! Entered production on 12th July and delivered into dealer on Friday 23rd July. I was informed by Audi that due to the computer update delivery from production would be around 5 weeks. I read in other threads that the new system is not really fully online. I would suggest that if this is how Audi can operate without IT in place then perhaps they shpould bin the new system and carry on with bits of paper.
