Well everyone.

Its finally on my drive at long last.
I cannot fault the new windows and the tow bar is a work of art. So, well done Hull Audi.
Fuel consumption in the first 100 miles showing 28mpg (2.0 TDI S-tronic).
The car is everything I hoped it would be.
Regarding the auto box it behaves how I would want it to. I think the lag people are talking about is just a soft start pull away.
To alleviate anxieties that anyone has and those that I had, Don`t worry it`s ace.
Will report back in about a week with update.
Cheers Neil.

PS when the tow bar was fitted I knew Audi would have to re-programme the computer to recognise it. I printed off the VAG-COM guide for Dummies and gave it to the technician at the garage. I showed him the section on switching the rear lights on with the DRL and asked if he could do it.
To my surprise he did.
The moral of the stoty is that it can be done by the dealer.

See attached pics!! Lava grey looks fab.

I had anxiety over the colour as I did with a lot of things. The Lava grey is darker than daytona it is as close to black as you can get, it seems to have a different hue in differing lights. I am delighted with the colour and would chose it again.
I too ordered the 19 inch wheels because I decided they would be easier to keep clean and also less chance of kerbing.
The wheels are with out doubt the easiest to clean I have ever had, only minutes to polish so again delighted.
Went on trip to York today and averaged 37mpg steady driving 80 miles round trip. The week end showed circa 32mpg so things moving in right direction.
SO ---- 5 days in and it`s bloody marvelous and a joy to drive.

Keep you posted

Neil.
