Hi all,
I hit a speed bump a little too quickly earlier today and was really surprised to hear the prolonged crashing and banging that came from the front suspension.
Anyone else experienced this or do I need to have it looked at?

Needless to say I'll be more careful next time!

Think I would get it checked if it's still doing it. Also keep an eye on tyre wear in case it's knocked the tracking out.

Thanks Josh.
Seems like a plan.....although the car seems fine and there are no creaks or squeeks coming from the suspension. Handling wise, everything seems OK since the incident.
It was just such a strange sound when I bounced over the speed bump - like a bag of spanners hitting the ground!
I'm sure the suspension didn't hit the bump stops but it sounded like there was some sort of secondary shock absorber action taking place.
The car has regular steel springs and is not fitted with drive select
