I read elsewhere that one owner thought his subwoofer was a collapsable spare wheel so my question to anyone who specified the spare wheel is did you lose the subwoofer as a result? The brochure doesn't say anything but they seem to occupy the same space from the pictures I've seen.

with Audi Sound System (and B&O i suppose), the woofer is placed in the hole of the collapsible sparewheel
you have to remvove it if the wheel is needed
you only can have a normal sparewheel with the standard audio (if ordered so)

Thanks. So what I saw was the subwoofer inside the collapsible spare. That makes sense.
