Just picked up on 1st March and getting used to Stop/Start again. ( I had it in a VW Polo years ago!)
However, occasionally when Stop/Start operates the Steering wheel lock kicks in. Is this normal?
Advice appreciated.

It's not locking the wheel, just the electronic power steering is turned off.

If you turn it hard enough it restarts the engine for you.

Thanks Jose.
I didn't want to force anything until I was clear. There are certainly situations I've been in where I stop but still want to align the wheels before moving off, particularly in off-road situations, so I'll bear that in mind and disengage stop/start.

Or just lift off the brake a bit, it will start the engine but not roll so long as you don't lift right off.
