twice as loud, great; although I don't think my neighbours will appreciate that when I leave early to work or arrive late at night

Hi all,

I installed the Kufatec sound booster yesterday; piece of cake to install (the pic of John was a great help, thanks!)

Did quite some driving in the meantime and it is a 7-step cycle when you push the control button:

0: system off, the normal dynamic sound of the sq5
1: gentle high tone
2: medium loud high tone
3: gentle rumble at low rev and slightly high tone at higher rev
4: medium rumble at low rev and medium volume high tone at higher rev
5: loud deep rumble at low rev, sound disappearing at higher rev
6: very loud idle and very loud high tone at higher revs

When driving slowly in the city centre, number 5 is best; when driving on the highway and certainly in tunnels, number 6 is crazy.
Be careful with number 6 when driving slowly in town because it will make you look stupid; the car sounds like a 200mph Ferrari when you actually drive 20
