Hi, I am still a few weeks away from owning a Q5, and have a question about using the S tronic gear box in slow moving queued traffic.

With a manual you would tend to let the clutch out to mover forward a bit and than dis-engage.
With an old style auto box with a torque converter, you can use the natural creep or just put on a little power and more slowly forward at a constant pace.

With the S tronic if you emulate the old style auto box you are presumably slipping the clutch. That does not sound good. Should you adopt a more manual style with the S tronic box??

Note that 1st gear on an S-tronic is a low one (compared to most torque-converter boxes): It will creep at walking pace with, I presume, the clutch fully engaged, so the only time the clutch will be slipping is if you're in Drive doing less than walking pace...
