I've ordered my (Australian spec) SQ5 for delivery in August. I have asked my dealer about the addition of running boards (will be carrying kayaks, possibly a roof pod on occasion), and the response came back as "not suggested for 2014 model".
I have seen that there is at least one SQ5 with OEM running boards on this forum, has anyone else been advised against doing this, or does anyone know a reason why this might not be recommended?
