I drive a 2009 2.0 tdi.
When filling up my car with diesel the emissions light comes on. I have had it to my dealership numerous times and they error reported is identified as fuel too rich.

I use the 50ppm diesel which is the better option available.

So here is the question, I take it to the dealership each time and they find no faults. They have replaced the sensor twice but the problem keeps on re appearing. Can I clear the error myself? I keep on paying to have it done and feel it is unnecessary.

Help would be much appreciated.

You should be able to clear fault codes with VCDS. If expensive fuel is the issue(?), why not buy cheaper grade?
