Sorry to hear that Wuls, so annoying, had a squeak from my door and they've seemed to cured it with some tape. Not exactly what I expected, my previous Audi's had nothing.

I can't see any hole through the fabric yet (if you could share a pic) I could then double check for you.

Re sounds... Now in the third month (Q5 arrived end of July, Europe) and the car is still quiet. However, in recent days I've noticed 'creaking' sound(s) developing from back door panels (both)... At first I thought of child seats, being the usual suspects, but soon isolated 'crackling' coming from the top of back door panels. Sometimes, even when the car stands still! BTW mines are with integrated shades (nice for kids)... Then I've pressed the top of the door panel and... It moved! Just enough to produce those 'crackling', 'creaking' sounds. My wife has 2015 Q3 and build quality is superb there - I tried to press there, but the door panels are rock solid, no chance of wobbling... Back to Q5. What is worrying is that the same thing is noticeable on all doors, seems like an issue with design / construction, or materials used... So, not even sure how to report back to the dealer - what would be their options? Would not like to have them tear apart all doors (have nice mat wood inlays and am overall against 'fiddling' around...). Hard to believe Audi would make such an error in design / attachment, especially as some parts of the car are really brilliant (eg virtual cockpit and overall ergonomics...) and overall it drives well.

Hi Critic, I came from the Q3 which was rock solid so would expect the next Q5 to be at least on par with it which isn't the case. Don't go pressing too many areas as it only leads to disappointment.

I did discuss one of the doors with the dealer and they weren't great, maybe some tape but otherwise they weren't interested. Annoyingly the car in the showroom has no squeaks or give on door panels (he did mention demo models are usually better put together which wasn't quite the response I was looking for)
