Spotted an article a couple of weeks back (Times motoring) referring to possible security weaknesses in the Q5. It's similar to the BMW issue where access is gained to the ECU, malware added and a blank key can be configured enabling a quick disappearance of your motor. Apparently a software upgrade has been made by Audi. Anyone aware (and do we need to be worried?)

Yeah, its to do with a publish paper on the crypto-graphics used for the remote/immobiliser.
The reality is you need a brute force attack with a rather large rack of hardware - i wouldn't worry too much.
