I have black headlining, seats and inlays c/w privacy glass and find it just fine, even in dark mornings and evening long commutes to work. It works well for me!

With creasing already showing on my leather seats I guess alcantara would have been a better option. However, with my kids always complaining that about front seat heating only in previous cars, I gave into them this time, as heated rear seats were only available with leather upholstery. Damn....!

I have ordered heated seats front and rear with Alcantara seats.

So much for the Q5 brochure then, unless it's changed description since May 2013 with option 4A4.
