Hi all,

My 2.0 TFSI S-LINE Q5 was delivered on last Tue, but already managed to scuffed the alloy on Sunday :-( ARRRGGGHHHH
Just wondering if there is anyone selling their alloys? (i.e. due to upgrade or something)

Cheers,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Not sure where your based but we had our alloys refurbed at ?50 a shot in gillingham kent can have different colours and finishes as well.maybe cheaper than buying a new wheel.they can sort out buckles as well.

Thanks for letting me know :)
I have called chipaway here to have it fixed next tue. Hopefully get it back to a perfect state, I hate curbs...
But if you happened to come across anyone who might be selling it, let me know, I would be interested to buy a cheap set anyways for spares.

Cheers

I had it fixed by chipsaway in the end. I know they are not the best, but the finish is 99% good in close inspection, they fixed it for ?50 + VAT

I went to prestine and they said they need ?120 + VAT and most importantly, they requires four days to work on the wheel while i need to use the space saver for 4 days. I reckon they need to have a scheme in which you can have a hired one to put onto the car.

Thanks for letting me know though.

No probs. Usually takes 3 days. I've used them twice before but I usually get all 4 wheels done so that the paint is all the same colour and leave the car with them.
