I'm not convinced it looks right in White, makes me think " emergency vehicle ", seen it at local dealers in Silver - looks great , and in Tungsten grey - not sure about the hint of purple, no one has a demo to drive yet round here.

A couple of months ago I went into the Swindon Audi dealer to see if they had any details on the Q5 and every car in the showroom was Ibis White and they looked stunning. Like this video the show launch in China & South Africa both showcased Ibis White Q5 cars so Audi must think this colour works with these cars and so you guessed it I ordered Ibis White. My wife has an off white Mini Cooper (with a black roof) and that looks great and in the US or Europe white is a more common colour its only the UK where some people have a hang up.

Wow, only my personal view on White, colour is obviously a very personal choice and I know it is more popular in hotter sunnier places because it reflects the heat better. I hope yours looks great, I'm waiting till New Year to be able to order 2.0TDi Auto ,so will be envious when you have yours delivered.

Well I guess I must have been "bowled" over to make it my choice I guess thats why they produce various colours silver has become boring with the world & his wife chosing silver in the UK, black really shows up the dirt & dust and dark colours like my current dark blue BMW show up stone chips and swirl marks still on the inside they pratically all look the same!

wow, are dark colors really that bad. I have never had a real dark color and I was in 2 minds for phantom black or Lava Grey, does it really make a diff with the dust, chips etc..........

i have a lava grey Q7 (had it since Aug 06) and its a lovely colour, doesn't really show the swirls and doesn't show much dirt up at all...

Here's a nice american ad for the q5.....oops, just watched it through to the end, seems like it's a german ad!

either way i wouldn't be throwing my muddy mountain bike into the back of my q5 like that!
