Anyone had this issue:

Phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) using MMI to make a call worked yesterday.
Today the MMI screen shows please wait and has been all morning.
I can re pair the phone and this shows on thr MMI screen but will not go past please wait.

Hi mate,

Have you tried rebooting the MMI?

Mine sometimes throws a bit of a hissy-fit where it won't connect to the phone (but the phone says it is connected), and I find the easiest way to fix it is to reboot the MMI (rebooting the phone doesn't sort it). Probably an Audi firmware needed?

PITA, but something I can live with as the call clarity and the rest of the car more than make up for it................

The reboot of the MMI did work, other than that the phone and the connection works really well.

My Galaxy S3 used to be a bit buggy, the last Firmware patch (applied via Samsung Kies) put 4.3 JellyBean on and completely fixed all the issues so that's probably the solution. The current Galaxy S5 (4.4 Kitkat) is absolutely perfect and hooks up the mobile data function in a fraction of the time that the S3 used to take.
