Thanks all...it has (just about) been worth the long wait!
I know different climates will have a big effect, but the pano glass is tinted and with the sunshade across doesn't seem to let much heat in, although we have only just enjoyed our first spring day...if it helps, the glass roof and the B+O upgrade are fantastic, and seem worth every penny. I recommend them both. I did also spec rear blinds for the kids, with are probably worth the few extra quid they cost if kids are a concern.
The only other things worth mentioning for consideration are:
3 zone climate - I didn't spec this, and I am glad I didn't. I mostly only wanted it because of the cooler looking dash panel, as I don't think it ever works (the temp just averages out between the left and right!) and the rear is just a standard vent - probably changes the temp in the rear a minute or two quicker than just letting the front vents do it. In other cars with 3 zone, I only have to twiddle 2 dials instead of one! As it is, when lit up red and blue the single zone controls look absolutely fine, and I think unless you have a specific need it is better to save the ?450!
Secondly, I paid for tech pack high to get the 10mb music storage, and this was a complete waste of money. Apart from the one advantage (?) of having the nav on hdd rather than disc, it is fairly pointless. Between the ipod interface and the SD card readers there are endless ways to get music in the car without having hundreds of discs. Seeing as the jukebox seems to import in alphabetical order (irritating) doesnt accept DRM tunes (which your ipod does) and you can have about a zillion tracks on an SDcard, it is another area where you can save cash if required...
off for a drive, have fun!
