Very nice - I must say those wheels look great - when I saw them in the brochure I didn't like them, hence I have gone for the RS type 20's - slightly regretting that now !

Keep us posted on how you get on with it - mine should be here in 3-4 weeks.

Really smart!!!

I'm still waiting on mine and it looks like it is still a few weeks away so in the meantime will just need to drool over the pics you have posted!
I too have gone for the special edition in white and the only obvious difference in spec is that I opted for the black styling pack - can't wait!
Please keep us posted with how you get on with it.

Ash - I will be really interested to see yours with the black pack, as it was something I considered, make sure you post some pics...

nsm - I think there are pros and cons to the wheels - on the plus side for mine, they do look much better in the flesh than in the brochure, and the main thing for me was that sat in the compound after delivery there were about 100 audis around me with the RS wheels on, and only mine and one other with these - BUT what was interesting was that there was a black Q5 next to mine with the RS wheels, and I had to check they hadn't fitted mine with 19's in error - for some reason the RS wheels look slightly bigger, the salesman had to double take as well. The RS wheels looked really smart on it, I don't think you'll be disappointed...

I changed the colour of my car from black to white several times, am really glad I went with white now...

Nice!!!

Looks really good in white and those wheels set it off perfectly.

I've gone for the pano roof on mine too, but dont think it will be a problem as the glass is heat reflective and there is the sun shade, if nessecary i'll get the rear panel of mine tinted darker to keep the kids cool in the back

Thanks all...it has (just about) been worth the long wait!

I know different climates will have a big effect, but the pano glass is tinted and with the sunshade across doesn't seem to let much heat in, although we have only just enjoyed our first spring day...if it helps, the glass roof and the B+O upgrade are fantastic, and seem worth every penny. I recommend them both. I did also spec rear blinds for the kids, with are probably worth the few extra quid they cost if kids are a concern.

The only other things worth mentioning for consideration are:

3 zone climate - I didn't spec this, and I am glad I didn't. I mostly only wanted it because of the cooler looking dash panel, as I don't think it ever works (the temp just averages out between the left and right!) and the rear is just a standard vent - probably changes the temp in the rear a minute or two quicker than just letting the front vents do it. In other cars with 3 zone, I only have to twiddle 2 dials instead of one! As it is, when lit up red and blue the single zone controls look absolutely fine, and I think unless you have a specific need it is better to save the ?450!

Secondly, I paid for tech pack high to get the 10mb music storage, and this was a complete waste of money. Apart from the one advantage (?) of having the nav on hdd rather than disc, it is fairly pointless. Between the ipod interface and the SD card readers there are endless ways to get music in the car without having hundreds of discs. Seeing as the jukebox seems to import in alphabetical order (irritating) doesnt accept DRM tunes (which your ipod does) and you can have about a zillion tracks on an SDcard, it is another area where you can save cash if required...

off for a drive, have fun!

yeah smo, it was really nagging at me too while I waited for the car - i was really relieved when it arrived...

Rob - the boot auto open/close IS great - but mine didn't come as part of the tech pack high, it changed and was not part of the pack by the time I ordered...

Oh, drove in the dark tonight for the first time - loved the high beam assist. Can't think of any earthly reason why I might need it, never been a problem to do it manually, but loving it all the same...
