Hi All,

I'm hopefully ordering soon following a weekend of test drives, I can't get back to the dealers until 29th but I guess that is not a bad thing being closer to the month end...It is my wife's car primarily whose changing from a Nissan Murano we owned from new.

Following the test drive with both the 2.0TDI and the 3.0TDI it has to be the latter. So it will be a 3.0TDI S-Tronic S-Line in Monza Silver. Besides the standard specification we specced the following options; Technology Pack, B&O Upgrade, Mobile Phone Bluetooth, IPod cabling (stingy it doesn't come with the tech pack!), Parking Plus (So used to the camera system of the Murano...), Panoramic Sunroof, Privacy glass, Folding Mirrors, High Beam Assist, Swiveling HID Headlights, Tyre Pressure Monitor, Lighting package, Storage pack, Rear side airbag system (come on Audi should be standard!). Think that is it

Love the way it drove and feels....We are being quoted November delivery for now...But will have to see what it is end of August and what discount I can negotiate...

That's very similar to the spec I have ordered. Mine is due in to the dealer this week and I am hoping to take delivery on 1st Sept. Very excited!

Yes I did get a discount but many dealers would not even want to quote unless I went to see them in person. If you are going for a factory order to your spec I would suggest using a quote from Broadspeed as a reference in your discussion - worked for me. I am sure you would get an even better discount on a stock car if you can find one with your requirements. Good luck!

Thanks for that. During initial conversations the dealer immediately offered 6% and an extra ?1000 as part of a campaign of migrating from another suv. I noted that online about 9.7% is offered so I am working on getting the dealer to beat this. As I have done the test drives I have an appointment on Saturday to talk business to agree a deal.

Fingers crossed, but since we don't need a new car I am still able to walk away a few times ;-)

Parking System Plus doesn't include a camera just a graphic representation. You need Parking System Advanced for that. Guess it's too late now.

I have also ordered at the end of august. Has anybody yet received a delivery date. I have still not heard from the dealer. I was told that when the order was placed the anticipated date was week 52. I would like to hear about delivery dates for orders around the end of august so I can apply some pressure to my dealer.

For the record I ended up walking away and not come back....The sales person agreed double digit discount, the business manager agreed low single digit APR on a PCP package...But the head of business didn't approve....We were only ?900 apart but too me it was the principle...

Also a bit celestine prophecy as since my wife decided she wouldn't mind proper 7 seat car and in hindsight found the middle seat in the back very uncomfortable with the big transmission tunnel in between...That's the Q7 out then as nobody fits in those seats...The Disco4 has supply problem and HSE trim level keeps changing....But now looking at the brand new R-Class....It's a shame as I liked it, but probably a lucky escape on such a low number as I was ready to sign there and then...So no delivery date for me...
