Was planning to order via broker (DTD) but managed to get a fairly local dealer to come within ?500. Just been reviewing order form and works out circa 9%+ discount - took much hard work and many calls but proves that even for in demand car it's possible. Am told that my car is already in system and is spec changeable so projected delivery is May / June - will be interesting to see how that one unfolds !

Overall very pleased but managed to spend considerably more than intended (was originally going for an SE without Tech pack) and still had to leave some options off (e.g. bench seat.

Just need to sit back and wait couple months now.

Good work, I just ordered through DTD as all the London branches were close to useless. They would offer only small discounts. Unfortunately the Audi dealer that DTD are saying Aug/Sep for delivery. If it was July/Aug I'd probably have waited until Sep anyway.

For new buyers might be worth members recommending what dealer they used, what discount and what the ETA was. Its a poor system that means you have to call around 10's of dealers to find out their price and delivery dates.

Bedford Audi did it for me. They matched DTD to within a nats and the car ordered in Nov 09 is now at their garage waiting for 1st Mar.

Mine is with Five Oaks Audi in Billingshurst who have quoted end June. DTD were a touch cheaper but I suspect their lead time is pushed right back as their dealer prob used all allocation. I also tried Motorlogix who were really helpful on phone and also quoted end June after checking with their supplying dealer. Definitely worth calling around to negotiate a good deal.
