Hi,

First time Audi, first time new car, first time SUV!

Im Joe from West Sussex and after looking round rival's (evoque, X3) I have finally placed my Q5 order. I have been given a build date of second week of March.

Spec - SE, Ibis White, 2.0 TDI 177 S-tronic, Black Miliano Leather, Sports Seats, Privacy Glass, Heated Front & Rear Outer Seats, Flexible Boot Liner. Lifeshine & Asset Protection thrown in for free too.

There dont seem to be many with a SE on this forum but I only just got to the Q5 on my budget after Specing up a Q3 S-line and realising it was only about £2k off the Q5, so it had to be done!

Anyway, straight in with a question. Hill hold assist? How does this differ from just using the e-handbrake and pulling away?!

OK Thank you for all your help. I have already contacted the dealer and asked them to add HHA. Seems like a useful little gadget, which makes me wonder why it isn't standard.

I also forgot to mention I have the interior light pack as an option also.

My car is being built this week! Arrrrgggghhhh

It feels like a very long time since I drove it, looked at it now and im starting to get a little Q5 homesick.

Any idea how long delivery and collection prep takes? i.e with iot being built this week how long do you guys estimate till im sitting in the driving seat smelling the leather.....
