Hi McDI have been told that the new order and distribution system is going in between 14 and 22 July. Does anyone have any insight to if or when customers will get access to track progress online ?
So do we anticipate our Dealers are going to contact us to tell us all about it.....![]()

Kev,Well I thought I would give them yesterday to get settled into the new system and had hoped that they would contact me today with some news - you know the 'we'll keep you updated right throughout the whole process' kind of news. It never happened so I gave them a call this afternoon to be greeted with 'Oh no, what do you want now hahaha'. I said I was hoping that they could tell me where my car was that had been built two weeks ago. 'I'm very busy selling cars and haven't been on the new system yet and to be honest I've only had a little bit of on line training on it' - what the f***.
He then goes on to tell me that they have had a white Q5 delivered but doesn't know if it was mine. That one rendered me speechless and following a long long pause he declares 'I suppose I could try and find out and ring you back'. Suffice to say I am still awaiting his call.
I rang Audi UK to ask if they had access to the system and could they tell me where my car was. They claimed that there had been a delay to the roll out of the new system and to ring back Monday. Is that true? Are people not getting information from it and having their new cars registered on it?
This just typifies the service I have had throughout.
Am I being unreasonable in expecting better?
Now I'm wrestling with going back to Jeremy Hicks but I fear for the salesman's continuing employment.
That is exactly what I was told you will be able to do and I got that from the head of UK Sales And Marketing several weeks ago.Has anyone been told whether we'll be able to track our cars ourselves through the website after this change?
Thanks

Can't help thinking that it might only increase the frustration, logging on to the system every day only to see that your vehicle status has not changed![]()

But only if they can be bothered to let you knowFrom my understanding (well after talking to dealer) the system gives them more up to date info as you have been finding out. Before the system could take at time 4 days to update status etc? No idea if this is true but this is what I was told. However on checking the system today I am sure he muttered something like 'number not recognised' or 'car has gone awol'
