11th October - I collected my MY24 car.
13th October - After driving it a little I noticed the leather on the steering wheel wasn't finished properly. It had looked fine at collection so maybe using it dislodged it. It looks like it was cut a little short and wasn't held in place properly. I reported it to my dealer with this picture. I was asked to bring the car to the dealers so it could be inspected

18th October - The steering wheel was inspected by 3 people. It seems they concluded they could resolve the issue at the dealers so I was asked to book the car in. I was away so left it a couple of weeks and then booked the car in for the next slot.
21st November - Car dropped off (got a loan car) and later advised it needs a new steering wheel and they're on back order with a 7-10 days lead time.
5th December - Steering wheel now arrived so needed to book it in again. 21st December was the first available slot.
21st December - Car dropped off by 9am (got a loan car). At 3:30 I checked the app and it was in the pound and locked up. At 4pm I was called to say they had an issue calibrating it so would need it over night
22nd December - Was called at 12:30pm. The senior tech on the job has been engaged back and forth with Audi Germany. They can't resolve the issue. Since it's now Christmas shutdown, it's unlikely I'll get the car back before the New Year. I asked if the issue was becauses it's a MY24 with the SFD2 security on the modules. The response was "Possibly"

I'll update this as it goes on. A bit of a developing saga over something so small!
