Hi I have a MY2023 Q5
Past few months I have had radio, Apple player and phone ( MMI) just cut out for seconds then restart ( I can tell when it happens as maps on my iWatch alerts me to distance home)
Been into Audi dealer- they said fault linked to Sat Nav so updated software- collected car today- told " I would need to suck it and see".
Fault back on travel back from dealer to home - they now want car for 2 days to update all software.

QUESTION - Anyone else had a similar problem with the MMI and how was it fixed?

I thought the whole idea of Audi Connnect was so that they could push this stuff out to avoid the need to go in!!

I'm sure I have seen similar reports. Coffee spilt on ecu was one garage response.
Without a fault code being recorded a difficult one to solve. Having some knowledge of electronics I would hazrd a guess at a power supply / connector problem. Good luck.
Also could be heat build up depending on timing...
Unlikely to be software, but always start with the easy stuff.
Reject car earliest if not solved.

My wife’s car (18 plate) has the same symptoms.

Did you get yours fixed?
Did it require time in the dealership, or were you able to find and install updates yourself?

Hi it’s been in dealer for a day but still the same so dealer is taking car in next week for two days to replace all software- I will update this post afterwards.
