In our MY2011 Q5 we have Retrofitted MMI 3G+ With Google Earth and the SIM Card option.

Nearly everything works nice, except for the Garage Door opener in MMI. This stays Grayed out.

Coding i have done / checked:

Module 9: Byte 20 - Bit 7: 0 to 1
Module 9: Byte 23 - Bit 5: was already at 1
Module 46: Byte 6 - but 6: Was already at 1

Hidden Menu: Ticked Garage Door Opener in Devicelist, Set Garage Door Opener to 5 in carmenuoperation and carbusassignment it was already set Clam 15 8/9

Anyone have a idea how to make the garage door opener option work correctly again MMI?

Do you have the Garage Door opener option/hardware fitted to your Q5?

Yes, the garage door opener / Homelink (which ever name is preferred

) was factory fitted
