Just noticed this evening when walking towards the car that the passenger front door wasn't sitting correctly. It wasn't flush with the body of the car and looked like it hadn't been closed properly. I opened it, and shut it a few times, nothing seems to be out of place but the "thump" when shutting it sounds different to when shutting the drivers door. The panel gap seems to have increased between the front and rear passenger doors too. Anyone any ideas? Got it booked in to get looked at a week Wednesday......

Has someone dinged it

As surely to put the doors out of alignment either the hinge has to fail or an accident (......I hope not for your sake)

Hi guys, took it into Audi to check that whatever it was didn't need parts and they told me that the striker plate had come loose, but still to take it in next week. Anyway, curiousity got the better of me, and I ended up fixing it myself by re-algning the the striker plate and tightening it again..............took me the grand total of 30 seconds!!
