Hi,

Friday afternoon I was going to pick up my daugther and went into the car, and I got really surprised. The big rearview mirror with the big lump where hanging from the sealing by the cable. Not an big issue, but maybee its time to start a seaparate discussion for fault reporting. It could be nice to be aware of things that goes wrong.

I hope you get it sorted soon - I have a loose drivers side mirror that wobbles at speed.

Guess what... they have to replace the hole windscreen because it was not possible to glue it back on. The windscreen will come with a bracket for the mirror glued on from the manufacturer.

Must say it don't feels good replacing the windscreen on a new car. They also said this is not the first car, so I think this might be an issue with the Q5. The only positive, is that the small damage I got from a little stone which hit my windscreen, will now be removed.

Hmm, doesnt sound great does it i guess that pilkington or whoever makes the screens have a QC issue with their bonding agents which i guess will be sorted very soon if it hasnt already.
