Changed the winter wheels over to summer ones last week and managed to lose the locking wheel nut in the process (don't ask, long story.) There was no spare in the UK and Audi Guildford did well to get a replacement within a few days. The cost was £43.50 inc. VAT. That did include, unasked, a spare matching locking wheel bolt, but it does concentrate the mind on not losing Audi bits and pieces.

Any locking nuts would have been fine I would have thought, I'd have just gone to Halfords and bought 4 for £20.

I was referring to the locking wheel nut, unique to each set of alloys, which facilitates the removal of the locking wheel bolts, of which there is one per wheel. You will find it in inserted into its own recess in the polystyrene close to the jack.
